Usage Tips
-
Suitable for all hob types, including induction.
-
Avoid using the induction 'boost' function—it's meant for large volumes only.
-
Always lift the kettle on and off the hob (do not slide) to avoid surface or base damage.
-
Ensure the lid is securely closed and the handle is upright before heating.
-
Position spout and vents away from you and others when in use.
-
Do not allow the kettle to boil dry—this can lead to overheating and damage.
-
After boiling, wait 10–15 seconds before removing the kettle from the heat to safely pour.
-
Never tip the kettle upside down. Always ensure the lid knob is pressed down when pouring.
Cleaning & Maintenance
-
Hand wash only using warm water and a neutral detergent.
-
Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool.
-
Dry thoroughly after each use to prevent mineral deposits.
-
Do not leave water sitting in the kettle when not in use.
-
To remove mineral deposits, fill with a 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar and simmer for 20 minutes. If needed, follow with a gentle descaler.
-
Store in a dry place to protect the enamel.
