An old, early-ripening dessert apple from Somerset, Beauty of Bath has long been popular in Ireland, especially with children, for its juicy, sharp-sweet flavour and early harvest. It produces medium-sized, red-striped apples with a distinctive pink-stained flesh and is known for its excellent scab resistance.
