The third largest and one of the biggest in Ireland, Limerick City has a very special place in our hearts. From Abbeyfeale to Murroe, the county is filled with absolute characters and an instantly recognisable accent that somehow manages to be monotonous and lilting all at once. We’ve got the Treaty City to thank for the minds that brought us Irish coffee and Angela’s Ashes, as well as veritable national anthems Zombie and Horse Outside. With a hefty student population, plenty of gorgeous murals and a rich cultural footprint, this one’s for the sound lads down the south.
Aboy the kid!
