Exceptional 48-Inch OLED Picture Quality

Enjoy cinematic entertainment on the LG B6's 48-inch OLED 4K Ultra HD display.

Its 3840 × 2160 resolution delivers sharp, detailed pictures for films, streaming, live sport and gaming.

Because OLED pixels produce their own light, the television can control bright and dark areas with remarkable precision.

The result is excellent picture depth, impressive contrast and vivid images that make everyday entertainment more enjoyable.

The 48-inch screen size is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and dedicated gaming spaces.

Perfect Black with Self-Lit OLED Pixels

The LG B6 delivers Perfect Black using individually controlled OLED pixels.

Unlike conventional LED televisions, OLED does not need a separate backlight.

Each pixel can illuminate independently or switch off completely to create deep, precise black levels.

This delivers:

• Exceptional contrast

• Detailed dark scenes

• Rich, natural colours

• Minimal light leakage around bright objects

• Impressive viewing angles

• A more immersive cinematic experience

Whether you're watching a dramatic film or enjoying a colourful nature documentary, OLED makes every scene more engaging.

Pixel Dimming for Precise Contrast

With Pixel Dimming, the LG B6 controls individual OLED pixels rather than relying on conventional backlight dimming zones.

Bright objects can appear beside dark backgrounds with exceptional precision.

This helps preserve fine details and creates an impressive sense of depth.

α8 AI Processor 4K Gen3

At the heart of the LG OLED48B65LA is the α8 AI Processor 4K Gen3.

This advanced processor analyses content to intelligently optimise picture and sound performance.

Key processing technologies include:

• α8 AI Super Upscaling 4K: Enhances lower-resolution content.

• AI Picture Pro: Intelligent picture optimisation.

• Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro: Refines contrast and HDR presentation.

• AI HDR Remastering: Improves the appearance of compatible SDR content.

• AI Genre Selection: Adjusts picture processing for supported content.

• α8 AI Sound Pro: Creates a more spacious listening experience.

Together, these technologies help deliver refined entertainment across television, films, streaming, sport and gaming.

α8 AI Super Upscaling 4K

Not every programme or film is available in native 4K.

LG's α8 AI Super Upscaling 4K helps improve the appearance of lower-resolution content when displayed on the 48-inch OLED screen.

This is especially useful for television broadcasts, older films and compatible streaming services.

Upscaling enhances picture presentation but does not turn the original source into genuine native 4K content.

Dolby Vision, HDR10 & HLG

Enjoy compatible high dynamic range entertainment with support for:

• Dolby Vision

• HDR10

• HLG

Dolby Vision uses dynamic picture information to optimise compatible films and programmes.

Combined with OLED's deep black levels and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro, HDR helps deliver impressive highlights, richer colours and greater detail in dark and bright scenes.

FILMMAKER MODE

The LG B6 includes FILMMAKER MODE, designed to display supported films using picture settings that more closely reflect the filmmaker's creative intent.

It's an excellent choice for customers who enjoy cinema-inspired picture quality.

Advanced Gaming – Native 120Hz with VRR Up to 120Hz

The LG OLED48B65LA is an excellent choice for console and PC gaming.

Its native 120Hz OLED display supports variable refresh rates up to 120Hz with compatible gaming hardware.

Gaming features include:

• 120Hz Native Refresh Rate: Smooth, responsive gameplay.

• VRR Up to 120Hz: Helps reduce screen tearing.

• NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility: Smooth gaming with supported NVIDIA hardware.

• AMD FreeSync Compatibility: Smooth gaming with supported AMD hardware.
