4K Ultra HD Picture Quality

The LG NU90 features a 3840 × 2160 4K Ultra HD resolution.

With approximately 8.3 million pixels, the television delivers detailed images that look particularly impressive on its enormous screen.

Enjoy sharper textures, detailed landscapes and vibrant entertainment when viewing high-quality 4K content.

Nano Detail Enhancer

The LG NU90 features Nano Detail Enhancer, designed to improve picture clarity, texture and depth.

Powered by LG's intelligent image processing, this technology analyses content to refine fine details and contrast.

From sweeping cinematic landscapes to fast-moving sporting events, Nano Detail Enhancer helps create a more engaging big-screen experience.

Direct LED Display Technology

The LG 98NU900B6LB uses Direct LED backlighting.

This technology places LED light sources behind the screen to illuminate the picture.

Combined with LG's AI picture processing, it provides detailed 4K images, vibrant colours and impressive big-screen entertainment.

Important: The NU90 is a Direct LED television, not a self-lit OLED or Mini LED model.

α8 AI Processor 4K Gen3

At the heart of the LG NU90 is the α8 AI Processor 4K Gen3.

This advanced processor intelligently analyses content to optimise picture and sound quality.

Key processing technologies include:

• Nano Detail Enhancer: Refines texture and picture depth.

• AI Picture Pro: Intelligent image optimisation.

• AI Sound Pro: Creates a more spacious listening experience.

Together, these technologies help deliver refined entertainment across films, television, sport, streaming and gaming.

α8 AI Super Upscaling 4K

Not every television programme or film is available in native 4K.

LG's α8 AI Super Upscaling 4K helps improve the appearance of lower-resolution content on the enormous 98-inch screen.

This is especially useful for television broadcasts, older films and compatible streaming services.

Upscaling enhances picture presentation but does not convert the original source into genuine native 4K content.

HDR10 Pro, HLG & Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro

Enjoy compatible high dynamic range entertainment with HDR10 and HLG support.

LG's HDR10 Pro picture processing and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro help optimise contrast, brightness and detail.

The television also features AI HDR Remastering, which can enhance the appearance of compatible content.

Important: Dolby Vision should not be advertised as a supported HDR format for this model.

FILMMAKER MODE

The LG NU90 includes FILMMAKER MODE, designed to display supported films using picture settings that more closely reflect the filmmaker's original creative intent.

Combined with the enormous 98-inch screen, this creates an immersive cinema-inspired viewing experience.

Native 120Hz Refresh Rate

The LG NU90 features a native 120Hz refresh rate, providing smooth motion for films, sport and gaming.

This is particularly useful when watching football, rugby, motorsport and other fast-moving entertainment on such a large screen.

Advanced Gaming with VRR Up to 144Hz

The LG 98NU900B6LB offers advanced gaming features for compatible consoles and PCs.

Its native 120Hz display supports variable refresh rates up to 144Hz with compatible hardware.

Gaming features include:
