Mini RGB evo – Exceptional Colour and Picture Quality

The LG MRGB88 introduces advanced Mini RGB evo display technology to your home.

Instead of using conventional white or blue LED backlighting, Mini RGB evo uses tiny red, green and blue light sources to produce a wider and more precise range of colours.

This technology helps deliver exceptionally vivid, realistic images with improved colour accuracy.

Whether you're watching a colourful nature documentary, an action-packed film or a major sporting event, the LG MRGB88 produces impressive picture quality on its expansive 55-inch screen.

RGB Primary Color Pro – Double 100% Colour Certified

Enjoy extraordinary colour reproduction with RGB Primary Color Pro.

LG's advanced colour technology is double 100% colour certified, providing exceptional coverage of the DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB colour spaces.

This allows the television to reproduce a remarkably wide range of colours for vibrant, lifelike entertainment.

From rich landscapes to detailed cinematic scenes, RGB Primary Color Pro helps create images with greater colour depth and realism.

Precision Dimming for Enhanced Contrast

The LG MRGB88 features Precision Dimming, designed to provide refined control over its Mini RGB backlighting.

By managing multiple dimming zones, the television helps improve contrast between bright highlights and darker areas of the picture.

This technology brings greater definition to films, television programmes and games, creating a more engaging viewing experience.

α8 AI Processor 4K Gen3

At the heart of the LG 55MRGB88B6B is the α8 AI Processor 4K Gen3.

This intelligent processor analyses content to optimise picture and sound performance.

Its technologies include:

• α8 AI Super Upscaling 4K: Enhances lower-resolution content for the 4K display.

• AI Picture Pro: Intelligent picture optimisation.

• Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro: Helps preserve detail across bright and dark scenes.

• AI HDR Remastering: Enhances the appearance of supported content.

• AI Sound Pro: Creates a more spacious listening experience.

• AI Object Remastering Pro: Intelligent sound enhancement.

Together, these features deliver refined entertainment across films, sport, streaming and gaming.

AI Super Upscaling 4K

Not every film or television programme is available in native 4K.

LG's α8 AI Super Upscaling 4K helps improve the appearance of lower-resolution material on the television's 4K display.

This is especially useful for television broadcasts, older films and compatible streaming services.

Upscaling enhances image presentation but does not convert the original source into genuine native 4K content.

Dolby Vision, HDR10 & HLG

Enjoy compatible high dynamic range entertainment with support for:

• Dolby Vision

• HDR10

• HLG

Dolby Vision uses dynamic picture information to help optimise supported films and television programmes, delivering impressive contrast, colour and detail.

Combined with Mini RGB evo backlighting and Precision Dimming, HDR creates a captivating home cinema experience.

FILMMAKER MODE

The LG MRGB88 includes FILMMAKER MODE, designed to display supported films with picture settings that more closely reflect the filmmaker's creative intent.

It's ideal for customers who prefer natural, cinema-inspired picture quality.

Advanced Gaming – 120Hz Native, 144Hz VRR & Motion Booster 288

The LG 55MRGB88B6B is designed for smooth console and PC gaming.

Its native 120Hz display supports variable refresh rates up to 144Hz with compatible gaming hardware.

The television's four HDMI inputs support compatible 4K 120Hz gaming, VRR and ALLM features.
