Four Gas Burners for Everyday Cooking

The Cata UBGOG60BK features four gas burners, providing flexible cooking options for a variety of meals.

Whether you're boiling pasta, preparing vegetables, frying ingredients or gently simmering a sauce, the different burner sizes allow you to choose the right heat output for the task.

With four cooking zones, you can prepare multiple dishes simultaneously.

Three Burner Power Ratings

The hob features a practical selection of burners:

• 1 x 3kW Rapid Burner: Ideal for higher-heat cooking and larger pans.

• 2 x 1.75kW Semi-Rapid Burners: Suitable for everyday boiling, frying and cooking.

• 1 x 1kW Auxiliary Burner: Designed for lower-heat tasks and gentle simmering.

This combination provides a useful balance of powerful heating and controlled cooking.

Stylish Black Gas on Glass Design

The Cata UBGOG60BK features a smooth black glass surface that adds a modern touch to your kitchen.

The glass finish is generally easier to wipe clean than some traditional gas hob surfaces, helping simplify everyday maintenance.

Always allow the hob to cool before cleaning and follow the manufacturer's care instructions.

Strong Cast-Iron Pan Supports

The hob includes cast-iron pan supports, providing a stable platform for cookware.

These sturdy supports help keep pots and pans securely positioned during cooking.

They can be removed for cleaning according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Automatic Ignition for Convenience

With automatic ignition, lighting a burner is straightforward.

Simply operate the relevant front-mounted control knob according to the manufacturer's instructions.

This makes everyday gas cooking convenient without requiring a separate handheld lighter.

Flame Failure Safety Devices

Each burner is equipped with a flame failure safety device.

If a burner flame is accidentally extinguished, the safety system is designed to automatically stop the gas supply to that burner.

This provides an important additional safety feature for everyday kitchen use.

LPG Convertible for Flexible Gas Installation

The Cata UBGOG60BK can be converted for use with a compatible LPG bottled-gas supply.

This provides flexibility for properties that use suitable bottled gas rather than mains natural gas.

Important: LPG conversion must be completed by an appropriately qualified gas installer using the correct conversion components and pressure settings.

The supplied information confirms LPG conversion capability but does not establish whether the conversion kit is included in the box.

Convenient Front-Mounted Controls

The hob uses four front-mounted dial controls, allowing you to adjust each burner individually.

This familiar mechanical control arrangement makes it easy to select suitable flame levels for different cooking tasks.

Compact Built-In Design

Measuring 600mm wide and 510mm deep, the Cata UBGOG60BK is designed for installation into a suitable kitchen worktop.

Its slim 40mm stated height and contemporary black finish make it a practical option for modern fitted kitchens.

Always confirm the required worktop cut-out dimensions and ventilation clearances before installation.
