Legal guarantee
Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Light Conditions
- Indirect Light: Calathea insignis thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions, but avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves.
- Artificial Light: If natural light is insufficient, fluorescent or LED grow lights can be used to provide adequate lighting.
Water Requirements
- Consistent Moisture: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Use lukewarm, distilled, or rainwater if possible, as tap water can cause leaf spots due to mineral content.
- Watering Frequency: Water when the top inch of the soil feels dry, which may mean watering every 1-2 weeks depending on the environment.
Temperature & Humidity
- Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 65°F and 80°F (18°C - 27°C). Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
- Humidity: High humidity is essential. Aim for at least 60% humidity. Use a humidifier, or place the plant on a pebble tray with water to increase humidity levels.

- Height: Calathea insignis can grow to a height of about 2 to 3 feet (60 to 90 cm).
- Growth Rate: It has a moderate growth rate. Providing optimal conditions can encourage faster growth.

- Native Habitat: Calathea insignis is native to the tropical rainforests of Brazil. It is accustomed to the warm, humid environments found in these regions.

- Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter, such as a peat-based soil.
- Fertilization: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
- Pruning: Remove any yellow or damaged leaves to encourage healthy growth.
