The PEL S150 Integrated Solar Fencer is a portable, intelligent solar stripgrazer fencer. It is a powerful .15 output joule fencer that will power up 2km of tape or polywire (3 acres). The PEL S150 Integrated Solar Fencer boasts a large 3 watt solar panel will keep the battery fully charged at temperature of 8-10 degrees. Can be mounted on post or PE710 galvanised stand/earth unit. Battery lasts 21 days in darkness
Convenience: The solar fencer is easy to set up and requires no power source, meaning it can be set up in any location. Because the solar panels charge the battery there is no need to worry about changing batteries or having a spare battery charging on standby.
Cost Effective: The solar fencer removes the cost of replacing batteries, charging batteries from mains electricity or powering a fence from mains electricity. Because the fencer keeps the battery in a continuous charge it prolongs the life of the battery.
Environmentally Friendly: Since the unit is powered by the sun there is no impact on the environment. Other fencers create waste from used up batteries or the need to be powered from mains electricity.

Applications and uses for the PEL S150 Integrated Solar Fencer
Cattle: Cattle are easily fenced with little or no problems. Dairy cows that are accustomed to electric fences can normally be strip grazed with a single strand of polywire or tape.
Horses: Even though horses can be livelier and more energetic than cattle, they are just as easy to contain. The containment of an electric fence provides safety and security for the animal. It is recommended that tape be used for fencing instead of wire to make the boundaries clearly visible for the animals.
Pigs: Tape is also recommended for good visibility when containing pigs. Distance between the fence lines and number of fence lines are important factors though when containing pigs.
