Product Description
The classic Advent wreath is not to be lost. Yes, there were times when Advent decorations on elongated metal trays were particularly trendy and yet, the classic Advent wreath has survived this fashion. In the past, candles were attached to the Advent wreath with a glow wire. This is unthinkable today because every insurance company would reject claims settlement in the event of a fire, because there is a high risk associated with wire construction. Not only that the candles could tip over but imagine yourself asleep with burning candles and the 'candle end' is reached and a protective candle plate is missing, the wreath would immediately be on fire. Today you use candle plates, which are available in different sises and colours. A small metal spike on the underside gives the candle plate a hold on the wreath. Another mandrel on the top is heated slightly and pressed centrally into the bottom of the pot. So your candle gets the necessary hold and a metal protection.
