Brighten up mealtimes with this superb mix of round-shaped beets that comes in a host of colours (including the striking Italian variety Chioggia, with its internal rings of dark pink and white). They're sweet and flavoursome, particularly if harvested as mouth-watering baby beets. An easy way to add both visual appeal and flavour to all those home-grown salads - and the kids will love them!
A mixture of our favourite colours and flavours, from the earthiness of the striped Chioggia to the super sweetness of the white Albina Verduna.
For early crops, sow a bolt-resistant variety March-April. For use in summer and autumn, sow suitable varieties from late April to July. Store roots in dry sand, soil, or peat for winter use. (12-16 weeks maturity).
