Ficus benjamina 'Exotica' / Pot size 24cm, braided stem
The graceful habit of this foliage house plant has made it a firm favourite for many years. Commonly known as the weeping fig, its branch tips are somewhat pendent - and they are covered in loads of pointed, rich green leaves, which have a subtle lustre.
Light Conditions: Bright spot away from direct sunlight, not close to a heat source like a radiator and away from any draughts, it will usually be happy.
Water: Regular watering when the surface of the soil is dry
Temperature & Humidity: Works in a wide range of temperatures, however prefers a range between 18°c & 29°c
Height & Growth Rate: During the summer, when there is plenty of warmth and light, these weeping figs can grow up to two feet tall in a month. It can grow to about 25 feet in just 10 years with proper conditioning.
Feed: Feed in the summer months with Houseplant food

Toxicity: Poisonous sap that can cause dermal and gastrointestinal irritation in cats and dogs
